After years of visioning, designing and building (we are still building...) we’re getting ready to open our doors in June 2026, and to welcome the scientists and innovators who will turn this Innovation Hub into a proper community.

Which is why this next step matters: we’re hiring our first team member.

Our building needs its first human

One Portal Way, in North Acton was never meant to be a neutral box with desks.

It’s designed to be a workplace with warmth, character and purpose: a home for science-led teams who care about their environment as much as their work.

To bring that to life, we need someone who understands that culture is created through hundreds of small, intentional decisions.

Why this role matters

Our General Manager will be the first person on the ground:

• the face of the building

• the steward of its standards

• the person who sets the tone for the entire community

• they'll shape how the building feels from the moment someone walks in

This isn’t a behind‑the‑scenes role. It’s foundational.
